Bastide Towns of Southern France
I shot the start of a new series for my GRID Cities project in the south of France this May 2011 based on Bastide towns of the department of L’Aude. I will be going back to the area, maybe a little more north to a different department next year to continue the series and research.

Ernst Haas
I am a huge fan of Ernst Haas, and have been since I discovered his work in the ’80s at the beginning of my photographic career. I found a copy of The Creation, and pour over it to this day. My students are always amazed by the work, and I use him to study composition in my classes.
